An ongoing series of my poems intended to show support for the Beacon community. Each poem is inspired by a Beacon Main Street business or service.

Your participation is invited! - - If you wish to collaborate, please send original artwork, photos, music, and other content by both adults and children to larrysansone@gmail.com. I will post these submissions here, along with the poems.

Reintroduction
(Inspired by Dickinson's Antiques)

An object once abandoned is reclaimed,
Displacing dust fall drape of abstinence.
As passions once forgotten are renamed,
And obsolescence turns to usefulness.
A severed thread from tapestries of time,
Is reconnected, touched by blood and life,
A beauty, once eclipsed, now boldly shines,
Restored from evolution's sacrifice.
A function rediscovered. Gears reset.
A form reborn from shadow painted shelves.
A memory revived in wonderment,
Reintroduced, so we may know ourselves.
