An ongoing series of my poems intended to show support for the Beacon community. Each poem is inspired by a Beacon Main Street business or service.

Your participation is invited! - - If you wish to collaborate, please send original artwork, photos, music, and other content by both adults and children to larrysansone@gmail.com. I will post these submissions here, along with the poems.

Glass
(Inspired by Hudson Beach Glass)

Paradox of portal, and reflection,
Future, past and present's intersection,
Clearly we can see where we might be,
But also where we've been and where we stand.

In this glistening mix of time and vision,
Flashing facets of our indecision,
Our amorphous souls and destinies,
Transfigured within flows of liquid sand.

Does its countless forms and changing colors,
Call our minds to journey forth in wonder,
To explore within a tempest's breath,
That temperature and time have captured still?

Or is that which makes us search and wander,
Something from inside us, closer, fonder?
Knowledge that all constants in one's depth,
Are changeable, by fire, wish, and will.
